Safety Management System
Safety is a core business function within Ultimate Aviation. We are committed to developing, implementing, maintaining and constantly improving strategies and processes to ensure that all operations and aviation activities take place with sufficient allocation of organisational resources, aimed at achieving the highest level of safety performance. The diversity of the company’s operations often requires the need for bespoke safety strategies that are adapted to suit any particular operation. The result is a company with extensive aviation safety management experience, even in the harshest operational environments.
One of the primary objectives of Ultimate Aviation is the proactive management of identifiable risks and the elimination of harm to personnel and damage to equipment. To that end, we continuously examine our operation for hazards and find ways to minimise the risks associated with them. Furthermore, all incidents and occurrences are investigated, documented, and actioned in our strive for continuous safety improvement. All personnel receive training in safety management, and we foster a culture wherein each employee accepts personal responsibility for safety and commits to ensuring safe operations and continuous safety improvement.
The commitments and objectives of the Ultimate Aviation management and staff not only focuses on the company’s responsibility under the Technical Standards and Regulations prescribed by the South African Civil Aviation Authority, but also extends to the international standards prescribed by The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
