About This Position

Ultimate Heli is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Maintenance Planner to join our team in Midrand. This role is central to ensuring aircraft lifecycle compliance and operational readiness. The successful candidate will act as the core coordinator for maintenance planning, documentation control, and regulatory compliance within a rotor-wing environment.

Essential Job Functions

Maintenance Planning and Work Pack Generation

  • Develop, compile, and release comprehensive maintenance work packs in strict accordance with the approved SA CAA Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) and applicable aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure inclusion of all scheduled task cards, unscheduled repairs, component replacements, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins (SBs).

Aircraft Records Management & Research

  • Conduct detailed logbook and records research, including ADs, SBs, historical maintenance, and component status, to establish current aircraft configuration.
  • Generate maintenance work packs based on research findings where required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updating of all official aircraft logbooks and flight folios.

Forecasting and Scheduling

  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute bi-weekly maintenance check forecasts and major module forecasts.

Regulatory Compliance & Audit Support

  • Assist with the compilation and submission of documentation for Certificates of Airworthiness (CofA) renewals.
  • Support CAA audits and inspections, including import and export CofA processes.
  • Act as a primary point of reference for scheduled maintenance and regulatory compliance queries.

Fleet Development

  • Assist with research, planning, and documentation related to the introduction of new aircraft into the fleet.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Citizenship – South African Citizen (mandatory)
  • Education – Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
  • Experience – Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Planner or Maintenance Planning Assistant, specifically within rotor-wing aircraft maintenance
  • Transport – Must have own reliable transport

Ultimate Heli is seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be based at our Ultimate Heliport in Midrand and will play a key role in supporting operational and administrative functions across the business.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain and update operational data and records with accuracy and attention to detail.

Bell 412 Engineers

About This Position

Operating both in South Africa and in sister African our Company requires the service of a Licensed Bell412 Engineer. The Engineer will be positioned in South Africa (Gauteng) and may rotate to South Sudan as and when required.

The Engineer is responsible for the daily airworthiness and safety of Company operated aircraft and articles in an assigned geographic territory of bases as assigned, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

  • Must be willing to travel to field base locations for support, as directed. Travel may be required anywhere within the company system.
  • Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
  • Leadership, commitment and promotion of safety as a core value of the maintenance and operational organization.
  • Ensures that procedures outlined in the General Maintenance & Operations Manual are followed and executed.

  • Ensures that all technical data on all articles inspected, repaired, or maintained by the hangar are kept current with latest revisions.
  • Oversees the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as required.
  • Ensures that rejected and unserviceable parts are handled in such a way as to prevent their reuse as serviceable parts.
  • Responsible for validating the aircraft Status Reports for aircraft assigned.
  • Responsible for advising the Pilot in Command (PIC) of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service.
  • Request aviation parts and supplies in order to maintain an adequate and orderly inventory.
  • Effectively able to communicate with engineers, pilots, and the client.
  • Must be able to adapt to a new location with limited knowledge of the surrounding area.

Qualifications

  • Full B1 License EASA or FAA A&P.
  • Current type rating on the Bell412.
  • Recent experience.

We are seeking a highly experienced and capable Heliport Manager to oversee all operational, regulatory, and infrastructural aspects of Ultimate Heliport. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of SACAA regulations and ICAO standards, strong leadership skills, and a passion for aviation safety and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee daily heliport operations, including aircraft movements, ground handling, fuelling, and site security.
  • Ensure full compliance with SACAA Part 139 and relevant Technical Standards, as well as ICAO Annex 14, Volume II.
  • Maintain heliport licensing through audits, regulatory submissions, and ongoing operational readiness.
  • Develop and update the Heliport Manual, Safety Management System (SMS), and Emergency Response Plans.
  • Lead, train, and mentor personnel across ground services, administration, and maintenance.
  • Manage infrastructure including FATO zones, lighting, firefighting systems, and navigational aids.

Qualifications
