On 4th January, Offshore Helicopter Service S92A made its final flight to the North Cormorant platform, marking the beginning of its decommissioning phase after 42 years of remarkable operations.
Since its first production on 14 February 1982, the North Cormorant has delivered an incredible 641 million barrels of oil, supporting fields like Causeway, Fionn, Otter, and Eider.
Located 100 miles northeast of the Shetland Isles, the platform has been a symbol of engineering excellence and resilience in the North Sea.
As we bid farewell to this chapter, we honor the dedication of all who contributed to its success.
